# Slash menu

Insert a block, a snippet or a command without leaving your sentence.

## Try it

1. Turn on **Slash menu**, then type `/` at the start of a line or after a space.
2. Keep typing to search, then use the arrows and Enter to choose an entry.

## Good to know

- Pin the entries you use most so they appear first.
- Add your own commands, snippets and callouts in **Menu entries**.
- If Obsidian's **Slash commands** is on, turn it off or choose a different trigger for Snailkit.
