# Copy On Demand

One-click copy the current file to its target path. Supports per-file target paths.

## Installation

Place `main.js` and `manifest.json` into `.obsidian/plugins/copy-on-demand/`, then enable the plugin.

## Usage

- `Ctrl+Shift+C`: Copy current note
- `Ctrl+Shift+D`: Set target folder for current note

First use requires setting a target folder (global or per-note).

## Settings

- **Global target folder**: Notes without an individual path are copied here.
- **File extensions**: Default `.md`, can be `.md,.txt` etc.
- **Per-file paths**: Assign a custom path to a note. When changing a path, the old file is moved to the pseudo trash.
- **Pseudo trash**: Located in plugin folder `trash/`. Left-click to preview, right-click to reveal in system file manager. Check to permanently delete.

## Notes

- When changing a note's custom path, if the destination already contains a file with the same name, a diff confirmation appears before overwriting.
- After changing a custom path, the old file goes to the pseudo trash instead of being deleted.
- If shortcuts conflict, rebind them in Obsidian's settings.
