# Weather Bar Current weather in the Obsidian status bar: `Moscow +22 ⛅`. Hover for details — how it feels, wind, humidity, when it was last updated. Click to refresh right away, or run the **Refresh weather** command. The interface follows the Obsidian language: English everywhere, Russian when Obsidian is set to Russian. ## Settings - **City** — type a name, press Search, pick from the list; coordinates are filled in for you. - **Show city name** and **Show weather icon** — you can keep the number alone. - **Fahrenheit and mph** — Celsius and m/s by default. - **Refresh every** — from 10 minutes to 3 hours. The last reading is kept in `data.json`, so the status bar is not empty after a restart. When the network is unavailable the last known value stays on screen, dimmed, and the reason is shown in the tooltip. ## Data [Open-Meteo](https://open-meteo.com) — no API key, no account, free for non-commercial use. Two endpoints are called: geocoding (only when you search for a city) and the current weather for the stored coordinates. Icons follow the WMO weather codes. ## Building ``` npm install npm run build # writes main.js next to manifest.json npm test # checks the status bar and tooltip strings npm run deploy # copies the plugin into a vault ``` Русское описание — [README.ru.md](README.ru.md). ## License MIT
