# Obsidian Canvas SVG Export

In "vanilla" Obsidian, canvases can only be exported to PNG. This is a Obsidian plugin that does only one thing: Export canvases to SVG.

## Usage

This plugin is available in Obsidian plugin store:

- Open Obsidian, find Community plugins
- Search for "Canvas SVG Export"
- Click "Install" and enable it

To export a canvas:

- Open the canvas you want to export
- Open the command palette (`Ctrl`/`Cmd + P`) and search for "Export to SVG"
- Click "Export to SVG" in the modal appearing

## Development Roadmap

The speed of development depends on the number of stars ⭐ this repo has and the amount of attention and downloads.

- Add rounded corner, aspect ratio and light / dark mode options for users when exporting SVG.
