# Bases Wrap Text An Obsidian plugin that adds an Excel-style **Wrap Text** toggle to [Bases](https://help.obsidian.md/bases) table views. When enabled, long cell content wraps to multiple lines instead of being truncated to a single line. ## Features - Ribbon icon to toggle wrapping on/off - Three row-height levels: `medium` (2x), `tall` (4x), `extra` (8x) - Command palette: `Toggle auto wrap` and `Cycle row-height level` - Auto-restores the compact row height when the plugin is disabled ## Usage 1. Open a `.base` file and switch to its **Table** view. 2. Click the **Wrap Text** ribbon icon in the left sidebar. 3. Use the command palette (`Cmd/Ctrl+P`) → **Cycle row-height level** to switch between `medium` / `tall` / `extra`. ## How it works Instead of fighting Bases' virtualized absolute-positioned grid with CSS/JS (which causes rows to overlap), this plugin changes the `rowHeight` view setting in the current `.base` file. Bases natively supports `short` / `medium` / `tall` / `extra` row heights and re-renders correctly on its own — so wrapping never breaks the layout. ## Installation ### Manual 1.
