# Cycle Latest Tab for Obsidian Cycle Latest Tab is an Obsidian plugin that replaces the default tab cycling behavior (`Ctrl+Tab` / `Ctrl+Shift+Tab`) with a Most Recently Used (MRU) tab cycler, similar to how Alt+Tab works in Windows or Cmd+Tab works on macOS. ## Features - **MRU Tab Cycling:** Press the hotkey to cycle through your recently used tabs in the order you last viewed them. - **Visual Tab List:** Displays a modal with a list of open tabs so you can see where you're switching. - **Customizable:** Adjust settings for behavior or configure hotkeys to your liking via Obsidian's Hotkeys menu. ## How to use 1. Enable the plugin in Settings -> Community Plugins. 2. Go to **Settings -> Hotkeys**. 3. Search for "Cycle Latest Tab: Cycle to previous tab" and "Cycle Latest Tab: Cycle to next tab". 4. Assign your preferred hotkeys (e.g., `Ctrl+Tab` and `Ctrl+Shift+Tab`). *Note: You may need to unbind the default "Go to next tab" and "Go to previous tab" hotkeys if they conflict.* ## Installation ### From the Obsidian Community Plugins Store *(Pending approval)* ### Manual Installation 1.
