# Layout Switcher (RU-EN)

Плагин для [Obsidian](https://obsidian.md/), переводящий текст между раскладками клавиатуры **QWERTY ↔ ЙЦУКЕН**.

## The Problem

Have you ever typed «вслепую» on the wrong keyboard layout and gotten `ghbdtn` instead of `привет`? This plugin fixes it with a single keystroke.

## Commands

In the command palette (`Ctrl+P` / `Cmd+P`):

| Command | Description |
|---------|-------------|
| **Fix layout (EN → RU)** | Forced conversion: Latin → Cyrillic |
| **Convert layout (RU → EN)** | Forced conversion: Cyrillic → Latin |
| **Fix layout (auto)** | Auto-detect direction |

## Usage

1. Select the mistyped text.
2. Open the command palette (`Ctrl+P` / `Cmd+P`).
3. Pick «Fix layout».
4. The text converts instantly.

For convenience, bind a hotkey in **Settings → Hotkeys** (e.g. `Ctrl+Shift+L`).

## Installation

### Obsidian Community plugins

Available in **Settings → Community plugins → Browse** as **Layout Switcher (RU-EN)**.

### Manual

1. Download `main.js`, `manifest.json`, `styles.css` from the [releases](https://github.com/arigurj/obsidian-english-to-russian-layot-switcher/releases).
2. Place them in `<vault>/.obsidian/plugins/layout-switcher/`.
3. Enable the plugin in **Settings → Community plugins**.

## Supported characters

All Cyrillic letters (including `ё/Ё`), punctuation (`.,;:!?`), and symbols on the number row.

### Проблема

Вы когда-нибудь печатали «вслепую» на неправильной раскладке и вместо `привет` получалось `ghbdtn`? Этот плагин исправляет это одним нажатием.
